Based in London West Central, this Business Services firm is currently undergoing a complete global IT system overhaul. Therefore, they need a strong Business Analyst to be a key facilitator within the company, identifying the needs of the client's business stakeholders to help determine solutions to business problems, and acting as a bridge between the business stakeholders and IT.
As the Business Analyst you will be working as part of a large scale implementation and will be required to manage a number of projects on a day to day basis, by collaborating with other project stakeholders; capturing, defining and agreeing business requirements; liaising with the IT strategy, architecture and development functions; producing documentation capturing customer requirements; working closely with lead BAs and project management; and performing handovers to project personnel.
Who we're looking for
Required: • Exposure to the full SDLC • A highly disciplined candidate • Understanding of requirements documentation standards, use cases and UML notation • Sound knowledge of generic software development lifecycle processes • Knowledge of formal analysis and modelling techniques (e.g. business process modelling and data flow diagrams) • Knowledge of use case modelling and the supporting tools • Previous work with in performing business analysis on both 'green-field' and maintenance projects • Excellent written and communication skills • Strong interpersonal and networking skills • Good organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills • Demonstrate creativity and thought leadership
Desired: • IT Degree or equivalent • Previously worked for fast paced Business Services environments • Understanding of the main software development codes
