Reporting to the Managing Director of JCB Service and functionally to the Senior Financial Controller of Commercial Operations, you will be expected to play an active role in the running of the Business. In addition to managing the finance function you will also support the operational and commercial activities of JCB Service. You will be expected to provide strong leadership to the finance function and have the acumen and influencing skills to get involved with all areas of the business. Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Working with members of the senior management team to develop and implement business strategy
• Ensuring effective financial systems and controls are in place
• Implementing effective controls and practices to optimise cash flow
• Acting as a leader for the finance function, setting and demanding high standards of performance
• Ensuring effective lines of communication exist between the finance team and both internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting the Managing Director and Senior Financial Controller with ad hoc project work

This is a senior leadership role that will give the job holder the chance to genuinely influence the continued success of JCB Service & JCB Attachments.

Who we're looking for
You will be a graduate calibre qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA or CIMA) with a proven track record of driving growth and positive change. As a commercial finance professional, you will be comfortable getting involved in all areas of a business and be capable of generating ideas and challenging the status quo. The role requires an individual who is bright, energetic, resilient and committed to working with management in a fast moving environment to drive the business forward.

You will be a talented finance professional with a background in multi-site distribution/logistics with a track record of success. It is important that you have previous involvement with the implementation of ERP systems, preferably SAP. Ideally you will have experience of working in an international business. Importantly you will possess strong influencing and leadership skills and have a desire to contribute to the future development of JCB Service & JCB Attachments.
