Joining an existing team of 7 you will support the direct material spend for the site. This will include the following:

• Implementing sourcing strategies for strategically managed spend categories.
• Managing a number of key supplier relationships.
• Identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities with key suppliers.
• Managing NPI to deliver business unit objectives.
• Effectively manage day to day operational issues.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant experience in purchasing/manufacturing environment.
• Degree/CIPS qualified or relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Must understand the manufacturing/supply chain process.
• Knowledge of a second language would be desirable but not essential.
