The Senior Education Policy Researcher based in London will take the lead in the development of their research programme. The successful individual will be joining the organisation at an early stage of their development and will play a key role in shaping the research agenda. The individual will also need to show willingness to contribute to growing their public profile in the media and to widening the influence of their research. Other responsibilities will include: - Design, manage and deliver specific projects within the research programme. - Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to the highest of standards. - Support the Director in developing new projects and policy ideas for future research. -Engage with stakeholders in government, the private sector, the voluntary sector, academia and the media to support and inform the research programme. - Monitor policy developments relevant to the think tank.
- The role in the first 6 months will involve sharing in researchlooking into: the case for structural reform of 14-19 examinations system Policy options for demand-side reform of state provision 'portfolio' education and the growth of education beyond school disruptive innovation and the role of the education entrepreneur and finally for profit schooling.

The right candidates for this position will be able to demonstrate: - Evidence of completed research projects (co authored or solely) -Experience and understanding of the world of Education. - A commitment to the think tanks core values and mission. - Excellent interpersonal skills - Someone who can help orchestrate this business start up working alongside the Director with a "can do" attitude!
