The Role: The core work covers a broad range of pensions advisory work, e.g. mergers, regulatory issues, scheme funding and also specific business streams, e.g. investment and disputes. The team support some corporate transactional work. You will be encouraged to attend client meetings and build strong contacts with clients at all levels. Training and Supervision: In terms of training the team provide both formal and informal training sessions to all members of the team.
Structure of Team: Five partners and nine solicitors in the London office and nationallya team of nearly 60 pension lawyers. Ethos of the Team: The team is hard working but encourages all employees to have a work life balance.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a Pensions lawyer to compliment our team, with ideally 4-5 years experience in the pensions law field. We are looking for someone with preferably more experience on the advisory side rather than transactional side, although this will not be the only deciding factor. Any experience in pensions investment advice and/or pensions disputes would also be welcome. The ideal candidate will be commercial and practical and enjoy working as part of a team. We are looking for someone with a willingness to learn, who is adaptable in meeting the clients needs and who has a determination to succeed.
