Finance Systems Analyst Leading Asset Management Firm in the City Paying £80000 - 1 year contract
Primary Responsibilities
EPM Systems • Heavy involvement in implementation of Oracle Hyperion HFM and Planning tools throughout next 18 months • Data analysis of input feeds into Hyperion • Understanding of technical workings of the system to support the Finance department • Vendor liaison
General Ledger Systems • Knowledge of Coda Financials tools • Understanding of technical workings of the system to support the Finance department • Full lifecycle management of Change Requests for changes to CODA from initiation to prioritisation, testing and implementation • Vendor liaison
General • Required to provide System application development which includes full requirements analysis, design, configuration, maintenance, application migration, data migration and involved in full testing. • Able to apply generally accepted standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation and will participate in designing, configuring, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting software. • Build relationship with Finance department and establish level of support required between Finance and Business Systems • Liaise with networks and DBA's on implementation of technical changes • Development and maintenance of Group reports

Skills • Strong SQL Server knowledge • Work effectively as part of a team and independently • Ability to navigate around all modules from a financial background • Aptitude to learn and resolve business and system issues • Advanced analytical skills • Ability to influence others within and outside the company • Ability to facilitate action and cooperation between multiple departments and levels of management • Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service • Good Communication skills both written and verbal • Undergraduate degree preferred
