Senior Security Analyst

This professional services client is looking for a Senior Security Analyst to be based in Central London.
Project work involved in the role will consist of the evaluation, deployment and maintenance of the firms security systems and Internet connectivity solutions. Must be willing to take ownership of a project from the initial concept through to final deployment, as well as the on-going support.Keep up to date with changing Market technologies in this specialised field and advise accordingly. Implementing changes and patches within the various security systems that support the end user computing environment. This will include mobile devices as well as desktop, notebook and thin clients. Provide support documentation and cross train for the systems within the security remit.
Maintenance and support of the existing security and Internet communications systems and pre-emptive problem resolution with the overall aim of enhancing IT service delivery. Analysis of event logs for a variety of systems to maintain and alert management of potential security threats.Management of third party suppliers and vendors to ensure adequate service level delivery.Knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory requirements for the firm as a whole, as well as providing specific advice within IT department and potentially for client related transactions as and when requested. Follow up support calls escalated from 2nd and 1st line support. These 3rd line calls can inevitably be more involved and will require an in-depth knowledge of both operating systems, applications and computer or mobile device hardware.
