My client is an ambient food manufacturing business in London and they are seeking to appoint a Technical Director for a multi site role based predominantly from London and to take responsibility for the quality, hygiene and process development across the site. The focus of this role will be to devise and implement systems across the business looking at the development of structures, whilst at the same time influencing the cultural aspects of quality and hygiene.

Who we're looking for
Being a Technical Director, you will need to have a background in the food industry, ideally from an ambient food manufacturer, and have held a senior technical management role in the past. You will need experience of BRC audits and a good knowledge of HACCP. Degree education in food science or related would be an advantage, but not essential. Most importantly you should be capable of implementing strong standards and structures across a business and able to effectively communicate change. Moreover, a track record within private label will definitely be distinct advantage.
