• With this being a new start-up the principal duty will be to further develop the UK development plan and lead the client development / sales growth.
• Having steadily grown from their European HQ in Holland, UK accounts / contacts within the refinery, petrochemical, waste, chemicals, steel and power sectors exist however you will be expected to mainly drive additional growth whilst simultaneously managing existing business.
• In line with revenue, you will be responsible for growing your local branch through the recruitment and training of both operations and sales staff.
• As your branch grows your role will still be sales centric but you will assume broad operational duties spanning training and performance management, customer service (24/7), HSE compliance, quality assurance, fleet development and direct marketing.
Who we're looking for
• It is imperative that you demonstrate a successful track record in winning business, building sustainable relationships and sales management within a (rental) solutions business.
• Experience of selling into one or all of the following industrial sectors would also be hugely beneficial - refineries, petrochemical, chemical, power, steel, oil & gas and waste.
• Whilst sales is the primary skill-set required, the ideal candidate will have an operational / service delivery focus and experience of running a branch would certainly be beneficial
• It goes without saying that you will be proficient in English, however a working knowledge of another European language is preferable.
• You will ideally be Yorkshire based but prepared to travel nationally, and if required within Europe.
