The role is to be the lead point of contact for the Sales teamswith regards to delivery of all sales support material. You will be the key decision maker and advisor with regards to the creation of plans and tactics (in concert with the overall Marketing strategy) that deliver to business requirements - on time and within budget. The role will also provide strategic support to internal clients to assist the Direct Marketing strategies. This role is about integrating the traditional print DM market with the modern world which is increasingly becoming focussed on on-line strategies. Creating a uniform and consistent message across these differing channels will be a marker of success for this role. This role will have multiple senior stakeholders utilising it's output so you will have to manage both the senior management team and their expectations as well as the wider business. You will have a small team to manage to assist with this goal and the ability to keep them on track and focussed on providing a good service will be another key indicator of success.
Who we're looking for
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to bring a proven track record of success within Direct Marketing. You will have come from an environment where they utilise a wide range of channels to take the product to the market - on-line and off-line, call centre,POS literature etcYou must have previously managed teams of at least 5. Detailed understanding of customer touch points across the whole marketing mix will be essential with particular understanding of the different comms needs of sales teams. Finally strong communication and presentation skills with a positive, persuasive manner.
