Risk Manager - Derivatives

An exciting opportunity within a specialist team monitoring our clients investment risk management policies. Looking for individuals with a strong knowledge and experience of derivatives and the trading strategies employed by investment managers utilising them.
• Maintain an awareness of all company, regulatory and product developments. Consider the compliance implications of such developments and ensure that appropriate changes are introduced.
• Develop influential relationships with appropriate regulators, clients and other industry contacts at Director/senior managerial level. Provide compliance guidance to line management, colleagues and external clients.
• Participate in visits led by the Compliance Audit Team where appropriate and provide support to Client Relations.
• Support the Assistant Director, Risk Management
• Manage Risk Management section to ensure activities are undertaken in accordance with regulatory obligations and internal procedures. Devise and undertake appropriate managerial control reviews
• Derivative compliance awareness
