Account Director - Channel relations

Your overall objective is to deliver value to the business through effective channel management of our clients key third party partners. This is a key role in the next stage of clients development. Key responsibilities include:
• Development and delivery of Channel strategy
• Management and leadership of the client relations team
• Work at a strategic level building relationships within the industry and amongst key stakeholders
• Ensure an excellent understanding of the industries in which they operate and the relevant key stakeholders
• Bring quantifiable value back to the business from these relationships
• Work with the Marketing team to develop and drive our client's short and long term revenue growth strategies
• Indentify opportunities for business development
• Ensure key accounts meet all contractual obligations and work with these accounts to deliver improvements identified through key business projects
• Gain an excellent understanding of our customers' problems and work with them to meet their requirements
• Deliver market intelligence and insight as the basis for giving advice and identifying trends
• Act as a conduit for partner information and lead on and feed into new initiatives for current and future channels
• Manage the budget

Who we're looking for
It's likely you'll be in a senior commercial manager role in an agency environment dealing with external customersor perhaps a not-for-profit or membership association type organisation. Key skills and experiences sought include:
• A track record of highly effective account management
• Able to influence people at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
• Able to motivate a variety of people
• Flexible, with the ability to effectively problem solve
• A strong team player with good people management skills
