Group Finance Director position will grow in line with the business and you will be an integral part of the senior management team in Paris, with key reports including the UK Finance Director and the Group Financial Controller.
Key duties include: • Being an integral part of the senior management team (Chairman, CEO, Buying, Logistics, Finance) who are growing the business and need to deliver against key retail KPI's in 2012 • Monthly P&L reporting against budget, implementing key retail KPI's for the teams • Detailed P&L/Cash-Flow Budgeting & Reforecasting skills • Managing a team in finance efficiently, improving margins by renegotiating key commercial terms with suppliers • Managing the relationship with the bank and renegotiating key financing terms • Experience in fund-raising, Leveraged Buy-Outs and/or Management Buy-Outs • Working closely with UK management team to monitor and improve business performance
Who we're looking for
Who we're looking for: • You must be a fluent French speaker who has a commercial finance background in the online retail sector. • Be a CFO of a retail business, with significant online experience • Strong budgeting and reporting skills against agreed KPI's • Excellent accounting knowledge • Strong team management skills • Experience of working within a fast based environment is an advantage
Other attributes are: • Excellent communication and people skills to ensure that there is a constant information flow between finance, buying, merchandising and logistics • Ability to think strategically and practically to deal with a complicated online business that is moving into different product areas • A leader who is able to manage a team effectively and get the best out of them • Capable of implementing financial controls and best practice based on previous experience • Commercial acumen & strategic focus
