Provide effective day-to-day management of the Trade Marketing section within the Marketing Department to ensure deadlines are met.

Able to be a self-starter and use own initiative to bring creative flair and management skills to bear upon the Trade Marketing team to help deliver promotions on time and within budget.

Project management

Maximize efficiencies and budget control to ensure the smooth operation of the Marketing Department.

Develop campaigns for all elements of Trade Marketing including new product launches, new store events, CRM activities etc.

Recruit, train, coach and discipline all subordinate personnel to maximize the effectiveness of the department

Research industry, customer and lifestyle trends and present findings to Marketing & Commercial Departments to develop the product offering.

Write Promotional Period briefs for the Commercial Team covering the key activity and seasonal influences.

Write/approve briefs for internal departments and external agencies.

Develop and maintain the Annual Marketing Plan.

Manage and co-ordinate the promotional processes and timings.

Oversee all elements of trade campaigns directly or indirectly through the team.

Produce evaluations of promotional campaigns to measure their success.

Who we're looking for
Previous management experience<BR>Experience within hair and beauty industry or retail industry desirable
An interest in fashion, hair, health and or beauty is desirable
Project management skills
Experience in developing and delivering marketing strategies.
Marketing qualification or equivalent experience
