Tru, an international mobile communications business is looking to realise its vision of becoming the world's first truly global mobile network and as a result it is seeking to appoint an International Tax Manager to join its expanding team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to establish a new Tax department in a rapidly growing business in a head office role based in Central London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;
• Work with the Finance Director, management teams, and professional advisors to identify, assess and facilitate tax improvement opportunities throughout the group and ensure that all tax compliance matters are always up to date.
• Work with the Legal Counsel and continue to review the Group's legal and tax structure and propose changes to optimise the use of tax losses
• Closely manage the indirect tax cost base of the group
• Primary control of all corporation tax computations for all subsidiaries
• Ensure that the annual R&D tax credit claim is prepared and submitted
• Ensure that all VAT, US State and Federal Sales Taxes, including Universal Service Fees and GST submissions are filed accurately and timely.
• Develop processes to identify and pre-empt all statutory issues arising from the Group's continual expansion into additional territories.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and/or tax professional with broad post qualification international tax experience gained within both a leading accountancy practice and an in-house position. The successful candidate will be an ambitious and enthusiastic tax professional prepared to undertake a wide variety of tax work in a stand alone position, supporting a fast growing and unique company with global aspirations. They will play a huge part in shaping the Group's structure and set it on a path towards a successful IPO.

The company has started to sign large blue-chip companies as customers and expects to expand the tax department after a year.
