This position is a high profile role and a fantastic opportunity to join CHC Helicopter Corporation as they continue to grow, both in the EMEA and International markets. Reporting to the VP, Total Rewards & Shared Services based in Texas you will responsible for developing and maintaining the compensation, benefits and pension programs for CHC Helicopter across Europe and Asia. As Director, Compensation and Benefits & HR Service Leader - Europe/Asia your responsibilities will also include developing and delivering HR Services and Support for EMEA and Asia Region. Working with local Directors this person will ensure that the Group's benefits continue to remain competitive and within budget; implementing and maintaining benefits policies, liaising with 3rd party suppliers and contributing to integration plans arising from Global M&A activity. Other key responsibilities will include:
• Provide consultative technical expertise, advice and guidance regarding compensation and benefits to Executives, Managers, and Human Resources
•Build and develop an HR Service Centre model, aligned with the global structure, directly supporting Workday and the new HR model Ensure benefits and pension programs are market competitive, communicated clearly and operating efficiently; oversee the implementation of new programs
• Review and manage Executive Compensation plans, conduct competitive reviews of executive pay, develop reports for the Compensation Committee
• Develop standardized reporting for HR on all aspects of compensation spend
• Oversee salary administration, administration of short and long term incentive plans and the sales incentive plan
• Negotiate with benefits and pension providers, ensuring competitive rates and excellent service
• Conduct due diligence analysis of compensation and benefits for potential acquisitions, and lead the integration of compensation and benefits plans during mergers and acquisitions
• Manage the employees' pension plan, governance structure and work jointly with Finance to ensure market competitive and cost effective plans are in place, audit-ready and communicated clearly
• Act as a lead member of the Pension Committee, preparing documents and taking action as necessary
Who we're looking for
To be successful it is essential you have a proven track record operating at a senior and strategic level in Compensation & Benefits. You will have current knowledge of European pension plan legislation and an understanding of investment principles. Furthermore, experience of managing European and Asian benefit programs is required.This role will also require you to implement a shared service model therefore experience of this is crucial. This is a critical yet extremely rewarding role for the organisation of which will play a key part in the future transformation of the business. As such, it is essential you possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be a self starter, proactive, results oriented and focused on continuous customer improvement.
This is a Global Role and as such CHC Helicopter require someone who is used to working in a matrix environment and can demonstrate the ability to manage a team, strong numeracy, a high attention to detail and the ability to communicate at all levels and cross culturally. Travel will be required for this role.
