The Senior Marketing Coordinator will support the maintenance and development of customer communications for the product portfolio business, ensuring that new creative requirements and campaign activities are executed effectively. This role has 1 direct report, main duties include;
• Support the Communications Manager to ensure that renewal communications are effective, compliant and promote improved customer retention.
• Ensure that all new business, renewal and Terms & Conditions/ Policy booklets communications materials are maintained and refreshed in line with business requirements. Maintain content of WIRE communications.
• Support a test and learn pipeline of renewal offers and programmes to allow identification and roll out of communications strategies and offers which uplift retention.
• Liaison with Studio, agencies, Thunderhead and Business Change teams in relation to new creative developments.
• Manage the communications suite ensuring that these letters are refreshed as necessary.
• Deliver any mid-term communication initiatives e.g. CSAT mailings required by the business.
• Deliver any corrective mailings, executing these to the timescales required by the business.
• Brief new initiatives into the call centre, working with operational management to ensure that new campaigns are understood and supported by call centre staff.
• Investigate issues raised by call centre staff in relation to customer communications.
• Manage direct report through development plans, department procedures, objective setting and staff appraisals.
Who we're looking for
This roleoperates as part of the Marketing function whose overall objective is to identify and deliver strategies which improve the effectiveness of acquisition, retention, cross sell and upsell activities. The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing Retention Manager, In order to carry out this role effectively, it will be necessary to have good working relationships across a whole range of different functions including Marketing, Product, on-line, call centre, and Finance. The Marketing Coordinator will have the following skills and experience;
• Retention and upsell performance success factors
• Effective communications delivery
• Previous Marketing experience in a similar role
• Good Word, Excel , Powerpoint skills
• Financial Services experience is an advantage
