You will be required to provide Small and Medium Sized businesses a range of (predominantly digital) marketing solutions that will help to grow their businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
• Achieving all sales targets, KPI's and objectives set by your manager
• Maximise sales potential of every meeting by listening and understanding the needs of the customer; and then selling a marketing solution from the portfolio that meets the needs of the customer, which can be developed and will provide a base for future marketing solutions
• Seek out and maximise on all new sales opportunities
• Ensure high levels of customer service are delivered consistently and that the 7 key principles of the customer service promise are followed
• Create, plan and implement new initiatives, plans and ideas
• Minimise queries and ensure they are actioned and resolved, thus improving customer service. Establish relationships with key customer base as well as maintaining effective internal networks.
• Proactively source leads, generate appointments, and attend meetings in order to make a sale.
Who we're looking for
This role is perfect for sales people with a proven track record of success in a B2B field sales environment, looking to join a market leading company in order to be involved in an extremely exciting new project within the media industry.
Key competencies you must be able to demonstrate include:
• Understanding of the various digital platforms and how these would be used by SMEs
• Ability to communicate on all levels (written and verbally) demonstrated on application and interview
• Evidence of good negotiation skills, providing examples, demonstrating at interview and achieving targets
• Ability to provide examples of organisational skills from previous job roles, appears organised on a day to day basis
• Ability to sell creative concepts, evidenced through application, interview and provision of examples
• Able to demonstrate grasp, understanding and awareness of business concepts and wider media marketplace, demonstrated through application and interview
• Ability to identify and target new business customers successfully, demonstrated through prior track record, application and provision of examples
• Seeks to take action and draw things to a satisfactory conclusion, evidence through interview

Our client is a market leader in the Media and Marketing Industry, with offices based nationally. This role is based out of Liverpool and would be ideal for people living in Liverpool, Cheshire, and Lancashire.
