Working within the European Biologics technical development group your key responsibilities will include:
• Evaluation, selection, design, development, characterization, interaction and industrialization of medical devices for combination products
• Evaluation of new and breakthrough technologies
• Liaison with and provision of (technical) support to key customers in clinical and commercial phases
• Technology Transfer and introduction of medical devices into commercial facilities/packaging centres
• Generation of plans, protocols, reports, Design Control, Risk Management and regulatory documents and patents, as required
• Representation of the function in international technical development teams
Who we're looking for
Shortlisted candidates will be degree educated with a demonstrable track record in medical device, special/innovative packaging, or development sector specializing in compact, complex, multi-material hand-held products. You will have sound knowledge of legislation, regulation, industry standards and guidance around the area of medical devices. As you will be liaising extensively with internal stakeholders and suppliers you will have excellent communication and presentation skills.
