Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance you will take responsibility for the strategy and delivery plans for Shenstone's finance function and aligning the subsidiary with the association's objectives.
Working closely with the Management Team for the subsidiary in regards to business development, growth, service improvement and ensuring high levels of performance. Responsible for managing the financial health of the company and advising management in accordance with Genesis and Shenstone's arrangements. Providing strong leadership for the finance team, taking responsibility for staff development and recruitment.Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Shenstone board, directors and residents.
Who we're looking for
You must be a fully qualified accountant with strong leadership skills and have experience of working for an SME or subsidiary of a larger organisation. The ideal candidate will have exposure to negotiating and understanding complex contracts, and have an interest and demonstrable experience of running an operational business.
