You will;
• Set and deliver the strategy to maximise income from credit/consumer finance activities and controlling bad debt
• Develop propositions that meet consumer needs and enable the realisation of commercial ambitions
• Put in place appropriate processes, MI and governance to manage credit decisions and scorecard rules, credit operations and collections (in house and 3rd party)
• Liaise with relevant finance teams to review and embed appropriate provisioning policies
• Ensure compliance with the Consumer Credit Act and other relevant legislation
• Build, manage and develop the credit team
• Manage the groups customer credit exposure & bad debt costs
• Control Revenue and cost management of all related commercial aspects relating to premium finance
• Be the business expert in the Consumer Credit Act and ensure the business and credit functions offered remain compliant.

Who we're looking for
Of degree calibre you will have;
• Strong understanding of the Consumer Credit Act
• Debt collection experience<BR>• Highly numerate
• Experience at managing teams and developing strategies
• Insurance market experience preferable
• Managed 3rd party relationships with operational service providers
• Experience of managing Consumer Credit risk on a high volume low value basis
