Virgin and Strauss Water will be launching an exciting new venture in 2012 that will provide customers with top quality drinking water conveniently, economically and in an environmentally responsible way. As part of this change, Strauss Water is looking for an HR Advisor to be based on site at the UK Headquarters just outside Guildford.

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting and delivering the HR business plan during an exciting period of change. The successful candidate will take responsibility for recruitment as Strauss Water continues to go through a rapid period of growth; as such this will form a key part of this role both in the short and long term. Acting as the first point of contact for line managers and as an ambassador for Strauss Water other responsibilities will include:

• To provide generalist HR support across the business on induction, retention, resource planning, employee relations and performance management
• Develop HR systems, procedures and policies to support the culture and to ensure they are up to date
• HR project work including pay review and performance management
• Drive effective employee relations both formally and informally
• Build excellent working relationships with managers and employees
• Be part of developing the company culture and help permeate it through the organisation
• Providing data for weekly/ monthly reporting and managing

Who we're looking for
Strauss Water seek a credible and articulate HR professional to join their growing HR department. CIPD qualified and with a breadth of generalist experience, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in an environment that is both experiencing a period of significant change and growth and is populated by a diverse range of employees. With extensive recruitment experience including the use of social media and direct sourcing you will be able to manage high volume recruitment campaigns and have strong and effective interviewing skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent people and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate:

• Clear and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal
• Well organised and able to prioritise workloads under pressure
• Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as under own initiative
• Enthusiasm and positive outlook!
