Following a period of sustained growth, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join the UK head office in Northamptonshire.
Working closely with the Managing Director and managing a small team, you will play a key role in supporting the business through effective financial management in order to enable informed and effective decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
• Production of monthly management accounts within tight deadlines.
• Investigation and reporting of variances from forecast/budget.
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and improvement of processes and systems.
• Completion of key financial controls.
• Review of revenue recognition on an on-going basis.
• Management of accruals, prepayments and fixed assets and assistance with monthly details forecast.
• Assisting with the preparation and transmission of results to Group in Holland.
• Review of supplier statement reconciliations.
• Preparation of external industry benchmarking.
• Supporting the preparation of annual budgets.

Key attributes required:
• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with a good knowledge of financial and management accounting.
• The ability to calculate non-standard journals including accruals / prepayments / depreciation and drill down to understand variances.
• Ability to interface with external customers and key senior internal stakeholders.
• A team player able to prioritise and manage own workload and consistently meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Career focused, driven and passionate personality, with a desire to improve and add value.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and a general aptitude for embracing new processes and systems.
