Provision of account support services for an allocated portfolio of clients. To aid in the overall service provision (with emphasis
on administrative support to Account Executives/Associate Directors) to clients ensuring that the business is retained and
developed. Maintenance of records, preparation of slips/forms/documents etc, verification of information and resolution of
routine problems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Monitor and check policy documents and endorsements for accuracy with all errors or shortfalls notified to either the
Director, Associate Director or the Account Executive.
• Assist in the broking process by:-
Obtaining claims information from insurers/loss adjusters.
• Processing and issuing basic cover documents e.g. certificates/invoices.
• Preparing cover summary/register pages for review by either the Director, Associate Director or the Account
Executive.
• Working on premium allocations where required.
• Update records on Asset, Sector, Acturis and company systems.
• Communicate with insurers and clients as directed by either the Director, Associate Director or the Account Executive.
• Process market and client documents as directed by either the Director, Associate Director or the Account Executive.
• Prompt and accurate resolution of accounts queries.
• Maintenance of a diary system for outstanding workload.
• Manage own files according to company and division procedures.
• Maintain credit control procedures on clients as directed by Director, Associate Director or Account Executive.

• Effective and timely management of all renewals to ensure completion by the due date.
• Obtain quotations both for new and renewal business as required by the Account Executive/Associate Director/Director.
Who we're looking for
• A general understanding of the broking process.
• A general working knowledge of commercial property, construction, employers? liability, public and products liability,
motor, engineering and personal accident covers.
• A good understanding of insurer rating methods for each class of insurance.
• A thorough knowledge of FSA regulations and guidelines relating to both commercial and retail customers.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other
associates.
• Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
• Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
• Proven ability to work with office equipment.
