Virgin and Strauss Water will be launching an exciting new venture in 2012 that will provide customers with top quality drinking water conveniently, economically and in an environmentally responsible way. As part of this change, Strauss Water is looking for a Training & Development Advisor to be based on site at the UK Headquarters just outside Guildford.
Reporting to the HR Director, the Training & Development Advisor will play a key role in supporting and delivering the HR business plan during an exciting period of change. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a wide range of training programs as Strauss Water continues to go through a rapid period of growth. This will include coordinating, designing and delivering training courses to empower and challenge employees enabling them to get the most out of their roles and reach exceptional levels of customer service, product knowledge and sales techniques. Acting as an ambassador for the Strauss Water brand and culture other responsibilities will include:
• To deliver product and soft skills training across all departments of the company
• Develop the content and lead the Induction process for all new employees
• Work with Team Leaders to coach and mentor new reps when they start their roles in the call centre
• Identify ongoing skills gaps and training needs
• Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes
• Promote personal development throughout the business
• Act as a super-user on Seibel CRM Systems
• Keep administration and training records up to date
Who we're looking for
Strauss Water seek a credible and articulate HR professional to join their growing HR department. CIPD qualified and with experience of delivering customer service and sales training, preferably in a call centre environment. You will have a proven ability in designing and delivering training courses as well as having the ability to deliver workstation based training; this involves delivering at all levels including management. The ideal candidate will have excellent people and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate:
• Clear and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organised with a proactive and flexible approach to team work
• Confident to deliver training at all levels, including management
• Creativity and enthusiasm to find effective training solutions
