Finance Manager - Transaction Services

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, this role is responsible for managing Genesis' transaction services team, providing efficient financial management, ensuring statutory/regulatory obligations are met and leading a large team of transactions staff.
- Providing a customer focussed transactions service to payments, payroll and pensions.
- Managing the transactions department, helping build a performance led division, encouraging staff development and progression.
- Ensuring that all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations are fulfilled.
- Leading the annual and monthly reconciliation process for responsible areas.

Who we're looking for
You must be a fully qualified accountant with strong leadership skills and experience of delivering a successful transaction processing service across a medium to large organisation.
Strong staff management experience, with an ability to influence and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have previously been part of an automation of processes project and have knowledge of a 'purchase to pay' system.
