As Graduate Buyer you will join a developed procurement team of 15 staff, and sit specifically within the Direct Procurement Category Management Team. You will be specifically responsible for an annual spend of £10M per annum and look after a portfolio of suppliers based primarily in the Far East and the USA.
Additional Responsibilities will include;

· Manage allocated vendors, place, progress and maintain orders with documented evidence.

· Negotiate payment terms and shipping requirements.

· Ensure all deliveries are received on time in full, with all necessary paperwork.

· To maintain contact with Suppliers and build a 'good' working relationship, by means of regular contact and visits.

· Monitor price increases and communicating changes as necessary.

· To be able to liaise with different departments at all levels.

· Keep the suppliers informed of forecast requirements where possible.

· Assist the wider Category Management Teams when appropriate.

Who we're looking for
To be successful in this position you will be degree qualified or equivalent, and have previous exposure of working within a Buyer or Contract Management function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career to develop themselves in a multi national Blue Chip organisation.
