A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Policy Manager - Financial Services. As the suitable candidate you will:
• Managing of the Note Circulation Scheme including representing the bank at UK Payments' Cash Services Group
• Forecasting banknote demand and the ordering of banknote printing
• Developing strategic policies for the circulation of banknotes
• Ensuring appropriate risk management and controls across all of the teams outputs
• Close liaison with others in the Division, with a strong emphasis on cross team working.
• With the Head of Division and other Senior Managers, help oversee and enhance the running of the Division•

• Experience in designing and implementing policy
• An ability to lead and deliver results through others
• An ability to distil, analyse and assess complex information and options
• Effective communication skills and personal impact
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to influence others to get the desired result - in policy, operational or risk areas
• Experience of representing an organisation externally
• An ability to combine long term strategic thinking, with quick decision making and good judgement when responding to incidents
• Strong management and organisational skills
