Our client, a leader in their sector, has an immediate need for a Finance Managerwithin the senior team. Based in Norwich, the purpose of the role is to build an outstanding team, excellent systems and robust processes that can deliver world class finance support to Business Partners and encourage these same Business Partners on their own journey towards excellence. The key aspects of the role are: • Building strong relationships with the stakeholders and Business Partners so that we fully understand their operations and proactively develop our reporting service to support their operational performance. • Building the competence, capability and performance of both the teams and the individuals reporting to the role, making the most of their potential. • Leading the finance team in the improvement, development or implementation of data, systems and process related projects. • Influencing our Business Partners and the wider organisation in the pursuit of organisational excellence. Principle Accountabilities exist within the following broad areas of responsibility: • Business Partnering • Leadership • Staff Management • Systems and Process Development • Operational Control • Ad Hoc Tasks • Secondment to and Movement within the Finance Team
Who we're looking for
• Full accounting qualification (CCAB, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) and experience of influencing significant change. • Experience of building strong relationships with business partners. • Experience of leading, managing, developing and motivating staff and medium or large teams. • Significant systems/process analysis, systems development and systems implementation experience.
