As an integral part of theteam, theAccount Managerwill look to reinforce existing and forge new relationships with clients across a diverse spectrum of sectors. This role is demanding and diverse, involving: • Using marketing and business knowledge to extend company contacts; • Identifying and evaluatingclient's needs; • Negotiating terms of business;
In particular, typical work activities are likely to include: • Sales canvassing (cold-calling)potential clientsby telephone to establish new contacts and theirbusiness requirements; • Documenting clients' details andbusiness requirements in a brief; • Clarifying and negotiatingall aspects of any agreement; • Negotiating fees relating to work the supplier will undertake for the client; •Managingall aspects of the client relationship; • Collecting feedback fromclients on the performanceof the account team; • Maintaining current records and personal statistics for review against performance targets; • Acting as a mentor, instructing and training junior account manager/accounts execs; • Attending business fairs and other events to expand the client base and develop new business.
Who we're looking for
• Degree educated or a strong educational background • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Confidence to be the brand ambassador and present solutions to clients • Previous sales/business development experience is an advantage, but a natural flair for sales techniques will also be considered • Well presented • Find motivation in being successful and delivering results
