The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for the planning, development, execution, measurement and evaluation of all marcoms activities for the new brand in order to hit objectives. Reporting to, and working closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for a wide range of marketing comms and PR activity. This will be integrated, through the line activity and will require the successful candidate to execute and deliver a marcoms plan.
Working as part of a small, high-calibre team and this role requires close working with colleagues within the marketing team to ensure that the interface between digital and other offline activities is synchronised, and with the sales leaders to ensure highest ROI in inquiries and sales. There will be significant management of external agencies and suppliers, as well as budget management.
Principle accountabilities of the role will be:
• To develop and deliver marketing communications plans and measure performance and effectiveness to monitor ROI
• the planning, management and evaluation of multiple activities to drive marketing objectives and revenue
• to undertake all marketing communications (above-the-line and below-the-line) for the brand and to drive the planning, development and delivery of these on time and on budget.
• To personally manage the delivery of advertising campaigns working with the advertising agency and the media buyers and planners, continually monitoring performance to optimise response to campaigns
• To develop and deliver the PR programme including any possible sponsorships
• To lead and manage suppliers and agencies, external budgets and budget negotiations
• To build excellent relationship with all relevant agencies to ensure consistency across all media
• To sign-off all concept development/copy in line with campaign look & feel and message
• To set-up and review all measures and make any adjustments to activity as required
• To ensure all activity fits strategic objectives, is integrated with major campaigns, and is true to brand positioning
• to assess performance (analytics, creative integration, teamwork, Return On Marketing Investment, supplier performance) and pull together evaluation reports.
Who we're looking for
Of graduate calibre, you will have clear experience of delivering marketing communications for a consumer brand into the UK market. You will have a strong B2C background, and a proven track record of managing and delivering successful consumer marketing communications campaigns. You will have worked closely with and managed agencies, and delivered TTL campaigns in conjunction with them.
With experience of man management under your belt, you will be a clear, concise and confident communicator, capable of managing your own workload, and working in an environment where change is frequent.
