This role is a true mix of eCommerce, Online Marketing and Development.
The candidate is required to create, implement and deliver the e-marketing strategy
and will be instrumental in the development of all relative projects. The principal function of this
role is to be the primary driver of traffic to the website, to build consumer awareness of
the brand and drive ecommerce sales meeting year end targets. The e-commerce function to the website is UK specific with the strategy to roll out other markets shortly.
This is a hands-on role and involves working as part of the brand team, you will report
into the Brand Director. You must be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear
communication, leadership and expertise. You will be a team leader with excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail. You must work well under pressure, ensuring the
smooth and efficient running of the ecommerce and website strategies.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have;
An understanding of opportunities/effectiveness/limitations of online marketing channels and
techniques
• Background in managing and implementing online marketing campaigns and proven
ability to develop and deliver a digital marketing strategy in retail, commerce and
branding websites
• Sound understanding of analytical software including strong experience of Google
Analytics and SEO
• Solid understanding of key drivers for consumer e-commerce behaviour
• Experience in website build and working with external agencies and developers
• A passion for new technologies and the internet
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial analytical ability
• Experience in affiliate marketing both in the UK and International markets
• Experience of online partnerships and promotional opportunities
• Experience in setting and managing annual budgets
• The ability to rationalise decisions within the longer terms goals of the company in mind
• You will be expected to know about products, showing an awareness of
materials, function, construction and cost
• Take responsibility of the Web Marketing Assistant, line managing up to Brand Director
• Use initiative to present solutions to issues, demonstrating considered practical approach
that supports requirements of the company
