Michael Page Human Resources is delighted to be working with AshtonKCJ to recruit for the position of a Regional HR Business Partner. AshtonKCJ is a dynamic, ambitious regional law firm, with locations across East Anglia, including; Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich.

As a Regional HR Business Partner reporting into the HR Director, you will provide high levels of HR support to Heads of Group, Business Unit Directors, partners and professional colleagues through both operational and strategic HR thinking, in order to underpin the Firm's strategy and future growth objectives.
Key areas of responsibility will include;
• Executive responsibility to make day to day decisions on behalf of the HR function, in order to aid Heads of Group, Business Unit Directors and partners to drive transformational change across the new organisational structure.
• Pro-active HR operational work: employee resourcing/recruitment; performance management (reviews, absence management, grievance and disciplinary process); induction, holiday reconciliation, maternity/paternity leave and flexible working applications.
• Ability to manage strategic overview of the HR team within the business.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the HR team, processes or procedures.
• To deliver sound HR advice in all interactions with every member of the Firm at all times.
• Effectively delegate appropriate tasks to the HR Assistants and work closely with the HR Director on ad-hock project work.

Who we're looking for
As a Regional HR Business Partner you will ideally come from a professional services background, or with a proven ability to be able to influence at a senior level whilst managing challenging and sometimes conflicting stakeholder priorities for the benefit of the business.
Key attributes required will include;
• Graduate and CIPD membership with the ability to work in complex, matrix management environment
• Proven experience in building relationships with senior stakeholders to drive organisational change and best practice
• Sound knowledge of employment law with practical application and advisory skills
• Ideally with some exposure to organisational change management
• Methodical approach to work, with a good eye for detail
• Sound project management skills
• Good planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to take responsibility for own caseload
• Common sense approach to work, practical and logical in decision making
