Leading provider of independent, objective insight, analysis, and data to the global energy industry is looking for a Conference and Marketing VP. This role has been created in line with their new events division.
This is an exciting time to join an expanding company and have full responsibility and strategy for a new marketing division. The company currently employs 120 staff across its seven offices with approximately 30 being in London and 30 in New York.

Responsibilities:
• Coordination with conference Partners, and identifying new partners to build our conference brand and schedule
• Be the point person for the planning, preparation, coordination and delivery of all conferences.
• Work with sales in positioning conferences to aid in the selling of sponsorship packages and delegate access
• Manage the Marketing collateral available to sales staff to promote products and services. Create innovate ways to support Sales
• Work with sales to run client/territory or product specific marketing campaigns during the year.
• Manage campaigns to coordinate new launches of products and services.
• Develop case studies of client engagements
• Ensure consistency across all deliver methods including website and publications
• Coordinate with IT and Sales to ensure the marketing efforts are aligned with product releases or sales campaigns or events.
• Develop a strategy to continue to raise the profile and awareness of the brand globally.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate:
• Ideally, the candidate will have experience in b-to-b marketing (management consultancy or software vendor background) • Exposure to subscription sales and company licenses/ Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in the energy sector, proven ability to make things happen
• Background and strong interest in business marketing, and communications
Exposure to a new media environment, either digital/new or traditional, or to the information management and distribution business would be helpful, but is not essential
• Have excellent communication skills
•P & L responsibility
