A global professional services firm based in Central London are recruiting for an SQL Database Administrator. Reporting to the Applications Platform manager and working within the ITS Service Delivery department and is responsible for the support and administration of all components of the SQL estate and any associated applications. The administrator will work closely with the systems management team to ensure the platform is proactively monitored and maintained through maintenance of the SQL platforms, furthermore to support and and develop existing management and monitoring tools to ensure smooth running of the SQL estate, including supporting ancillary systems with the help of internal and external resources.

Who we're looking for
Essential Skills
• SSIS on SQL 2005 and SQL 2008
• MCTS: SQL Server 2008/2005 or MCITP: Database Administrator 2008/2005
• Knowledge of Merido Document management system or other equivalent
• Geo Clustering
• Understanding of ISO 27001 compliance requirements
• Proven understanding of capacity management and forecasting
• Proven understanding of change management process in a fully change managed environment (ITIL)
• Strong knowledge of Windows Architecture, deployment considerations and structured infrastructure methodologies
• Good understanding of core network technologies
