Reporting to the Commercial Director this newly formed role will have complete ownership of the external and internal marketing of a cutting edge Strategic Marketing & Research Agency. You will take control of the repositioning, rebranding and drawing a new client journey for the Agency's enviable client portfolio. This is a high profile role and the successful candidate will be expected to build a highly effective function capable of impacting agency profitability. The Head of Marketing will be running a considerable budget and will also have the responsibility for the business development function. Key responsibilities include:
Development of the brand strategy and evolution across all communications touch points
Building the Agency's brand 'fame' in the UK and other markets
Budgetary management of the entire marketing spend
Performance reporting to the management team
Campaign planning using a variety of media channels
Development and execution of the digital strategy
Development and promotion of propositions and new services based on internal competencies and IP
Management of all relationships with a variety of external support agencies
Management of the business development function and staff including performance appraisals
Design and management of the client experience across all brand touch points
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have experience of the marketing of an agency (ideal) or as a minimum have experience of B2B marketing for a business within the marketing services landscape.
We are looking for a versatile, highly ambitious and authoritative individual whose academic and practical experience will allow them to own and build this function. Academic skills will empower the individual to help the Agency develop new IP and effectively communicate our differentiated position. Practical marketing management experience will enable the individual to immediately impact the business and demonstrate the value of this function
The Head of Marketing requires specific skills but is, crucially, a very hands on role, and requires someone with the aptitude and capability to contribute at both a strategic and tactical level

What's on offer
Between £55,000 - £65,000 basic salary plus good bonus opportunity + benefits.
