Carrier Account Manager

The role of Carrier Account Manager will require;
- Total Account Management to the B2B divisions of UK & Ireland Fixed Line and Mobile Carriers
- Management of primary corporate B2B Channels including BT, Vodafone, O2 and Orange Business Services
- Ensure delivery on key Revenue targets building a pipeline of New Business Development and up-selling on existing accounts
- Develop a network of key decision makers across accounts
- Increase Market Share and grow corporate accounts
- Seek new business opportunities by aligning with new initiatives with Fixed Line and Mobile Carriers around legacy PBX, UC, ARPU and customers retention/acquisition
- Effective utilisation of internal relationships in order to leverage their market experience and expertise
- Selling the full product portfolio you will develop and implement strategies that help achieve volume and profit objectives
- Create and maintain effective relationships with system integrators and partners

Who we're looking for
You will need to have sold into Channel partners within Unified Communications either at a telecommunications vendor or services provider. These are likely to include one, or several of the following; BT, Vodafone, O2, Orange/T-Mobile (Everything Everywhere) or Cable & Wireless. You will have a strong understanding of the channel within Telecoms and will have sold a broad range of solutions into Fixed Line and Mobile Carriers. Having developed and brought on new business relationships in previous roles you will also be very experienced in developing existing accounts and taking them to the next level in terms of product focus and revenue. You will have understanding and appreciation of a variety of industry trends that do/will create business opportunities for Plantronics. You will be an intelligent, competent individual with integrity and accountability. You will be highly motivated, competitive, self-confident, and entrepreneurial and attracted to challenging opportunities within a rapidly growing environment. You will need to be able to demonstrate a successful sales track record within the carrier/service provider, particularly through their B2B activities, selling both concepts and products.
