Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT Infrastructure Manager can be based either out of Manchester or Leeds and will have the following responsibilities • Lead and develop a team of circa 15 people •Seek to improve the the overall delivery of the team continuously • Participate in the development of IT Strategy with the executive team and develop Infrastructure roadmaps to support the delivery of IT strategic goals • Establish service level agreements with the business •Develop business cases and cost/benefit analyses for technology spending and initiatives • Define requirements for new technology implementations and communicate them to business stakeholders • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to secure infrastructure specific products and services
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have the following skills • Proven experience of managing teams in a technical environment •Experience of implementing and operating within the ITIL framework • Experience of working in a legal, professional services or finance industry • Demonstrable skills in stakeholder management •Previous experience of working as an Infrastructure Manager •Experience of project management •Technical experience of Cisco, Active Directory,VMware, HP and Microsoft Servers •Experience of dealing with 3rd party suppliers and vendor management • Experience of setting up new data centre is highly desirable
