Assistant Brand Manager

FMCG

You will take responsibility for delivering a varied range of marketing activities, including brand activity plans, product launches, direct to consumer communications, and a busy trade / consumer event calendar.You will also assist the Brand Manager and Head of Marketing in the strategic development and direction of the wider portfolio.
Other responsibilities:
• Supporting the grocery branded portfolio
• Management of a portfolio of specialist brands
• General marketing team support

Who we're looking for
The suitable candidate will be a graduate calibre marketer with demonstrable experience within the FMCG/ Consumer arena. You will require:
• Excellent direct to consumer face to face communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication at all levels.
• Thorough organisation, planning, project management and time management skills.
• The ability to work under pressure within tight budgets and deadlines.
• A good level of IT skills using key office applications.
You must be:
•Confident, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
• An optimistic and resilient team player, always willing to 'pitch in' to deliver business critical activity.
• Creative, with a good feel for design, and a keen eye for detail when developing and approving packaging.
• Detailed and excellent in marketing execution.
• Self aware - taking responsibility and accountability for all aspects of work including planning ahead, asking the right questions and listening to and recording instructions.
