Reporting to the Supply Strategy Manager, as the Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring that planning models, forecasts, ordering parameters and stock projections are sufficiently accurate to assure supply with maximum efficiency and minimum cost
2. Collaborating with the Restaurant Supply Planning leadership team (RSP) & Product Supply teams to ensure the RSP function optimises the systems, tools, reports and processes
3. Communicating projected restaurant demand and understanding possible constrained supply situations
In addition to the above your daily tasks and objectives will include:
• Providing business analysis reporting services for internal and external customers including supporting the remediation of issues affecting restaurant performance • Collaborating closely with the Restaurant Supply Planning leadership team to ensure the function optimises and continuously improves systems, tools, reports and processes • Ensure the necessary checks and controls on data integrity and performance are in place and monitored closely providing accuracy • Manage the Data and Information flow particularly in respect of service KPI's • Communicate to all key stakeholders Restaurant Supply Planning forecasted demand and requirements and interdependencies to meet • Participate in relevant cross functional and specific meetings and discussions
Who we're looking for
• At least 4 years experience within a Supply Chain or Logistics function preferably from within a retail environment or similar • Good understanding of replenishment and forecasting processes, techniques and systems • Preferably experience of Manugistics • Good interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate at different organisational levels • Calm under pressure, with good activity planning and organisational skills • Innovative approach, forward thinking, able to think 'outside the box' • Strong belief in delivering results as part of a team • Strong attention to detail
