The role of a Buyer is to play a key role in ensuring that my client maintains a distinct point of difference across their Product Category. Their Challenge is to seek every opportunity to develop value added, branded and own label products, to increase margins and profits by establishing strong associations with suppliers and to maximise sales and New Product Development and exploitation of opportunities within established products and brands. The role is a Buyer reports directly in to the Category Head.

Who we're looking for
My client is looking for the following skills:
• You will be from either a Wholesale or Retail background.
• Candidates who have sourced Confectionary, Pet Food, Grocery, and Non Edible will be considered for the role
• You will be flexible and adaptable and have strong communication skills
My client will measure candidates over the following area's:-
• Communicating Openly, Developing Self & Others, Results Orientation, Focusing on Customers, Working as One Team, & Creating Improvements.
You will also have Commercial Awareness, Decision Making & Judgement, Negotiation, & Problem solving & Analytical thinking skills.

What's on offer
Basic salary up to £50,000 plus car and bonus
