As the Head of IT Procurement you will be responsible for leading the end to end sourcing process from RFI through to contract management. You will need to have a firm grasp of IT procurement across all sub sectors but also have other general indirect procurement experience.
You will be dealing with large scale strategic projects, driving stakeholder engagement, and creating tangible results - both financial and service based. You will be dealing with complex IT areas and developing category management through your knowledge of the space.
You will have team management experience and be responsible for a team of highly driven and dynamic IT sourcing managers and senior buyers.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the IT category enabling them to talk through complex projects with senior stakeholders including board members and the IT Director.
Having worked on highly successful projects, you will be able to go through complex strategic sourcing, and have worked in a best practice procurement function. You will have looked at high volume spends, and have created improvements to existing procurement practices. Other attributes include:
• FS or Insurance sector experience (advantageous)
•Degree Qualified
