As an Assistant Merchandiser for a leading furniture retailer based in the Thames Valley region your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and control OTB ensuring intake and commitment is controlled and in line with business.
• To provide comprehensive and timely analysis of departmental, range and product performance.
• Ensure WSSI tool is updated and accurate.
• Re-forecasting of WSSI/OTB
• Assist in developing Range Plans
• Management of branch replenishment and stock profiles
• Management of deliveries of Supplier Special Orders into HDDs
• Support Supply Chain Controllers in day to day tasks
• Regular liaison with Buying and Suppliers
• Work cross functionally - Buying and Suppliers
• Solutions are provided to problems, shortfalls and issues arising from KPI's or from team or colleagues.
• Total compliance to all H&S, legal obligations and company operating standards and policies.

Who we're looking for
In order to be considered for this position as Assistant Merchandiser you will need to be:
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Good time management - both of self and 3rd parties
• Understanding of OTB/WSSI
• Some Merchandising background
• Diplomacy and negotiating skills
• Positive, 'Can do' attitude at all times
• Flexible approach to work and workload
• Open and honest approach at all times
• Customer Focused (Both external and internal customers)
• Team player
• Supportive
