A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Policy Analyst in a Bank. As the suitable candidate you will:
• Delivering high quality policy analysis to assess how the Key Attributes should be applied. The jobholder would have considerable scope to do original thinking with high global and UK policy impact.
• Developing expertise in foreign resolution regimes, to inform thinking on how the EU / UK regime could be improved in-line with the Key Attributes.
• Managing and developing key stakeholder.
• Developing standalone analytical pieces to contribute towards the development of resolution policy, with a senior audience in mind.
• Contributing, where necessary, to live firm-specific contingency planning and, if necessary, supporting the resolution of a firm.

My Client is looking for a candidate with:
• Be a self-starter, capable of taking ownership of work and driving it forward autonomously.
• Be familiar with the fundamental principles of economics, and have strong problem-solving analytical skills.
• Have strong written communications skills, and be capable of drafting precisely and concisely for senior audiences.
• Have strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Be capable of learning quickly. Opportunities for training will be provided and the successful candidate will be able to learn on the job.
• Have a strong interest in and passion for using strong analysis to support the development of high-quality, effective, practical policy outcomes.
• Flexible, adaptable, reliable and able to work, where necessary, to tight deadlines and under pressure during busy periods.
Prior experience or expertise in resolution issues, policy development / implementation, financial institutions and markets analysis, and / or corporate finance and accounting would be an advantage.
