Production Team Leader

Reporting into the Production Manager you will have on-shift responsibility for achieving immediate and short-term objectives, such as output, H&S, quality,yield, and overtime costs. Whilst effectively managing the production team. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that your areas labour variance budgets are adhered to and appropriate mitigation in events where any overspend occurs.
• To monitor and investigate your shifts performance, and understand failures and implemented relevant corrective actions
• Working cross functionally to identify root causes for the failures of equipment within the factory.
•Champion the deployment and ongoing use of Lean tools and techniques in his/ her area to identify and drive continuous improvement in order to meet all key performance metrics.

Who we're looking for
You will have a proven track record in people management within a manufacturing environment combined with previous experience of utilising lean manufacturing principles.
