This newly created role wills see the successful candidate lead the negotiation for strategic sourcing activity. • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers as required and at least on an annual basis • Forecast and exceed savings (PPV) targets through negotiation, resourcing, VAVE • Reduce supplier count for allocated categories • Liaise with global procurement teams to help achieve strategic aims • Maintain price file and other commercial terms in AS400 system • Ensure careful documentation of commercial agreements • Maintain relevant KPI's Proven negotiator Demonstrates excellent commercial awareness Excellent communication skills at all levels Credible and confident Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining Customer focus Flexible team player 'Can do' approach to tasks Self motivated with a positive personal impression Encourages team work and contribution throughout all levels of the organisation Can demonstrate conflict management Articulate and Numerate Leads by example and demonstrates professional standards at all times A desire for self development
