Global Automation Specialist

The role holds full authority and will be dedicated to all automation on site. The role specifically will include:
• Leading and designing all automation strategies, concepts and processes across 9 sites globally.
• The candidate will be the subject matter expert for all automation globally and will develop new concepts and innovations for the automation of assembly and winding.
• The candidate will ensure that safety, quality and cycle time targets are hit
• Will prove all new technology through reviews and trials
• Working with the Global Standardisation Leader to create and maintain standards for automation.
• Act as Functional Excellence Leader to local and European Plant machinery introduction programmes.
• Provide leadership in all capital acquisitions and plant introductions

Who we're looking for
• Candidate with a Manufacturing Degree and Preferably Six Sigma Qualifications
• The candidate will have extensive and demonstrable experience in the field of automation systems, robotics and PLC controllers
• The candidate will be career focused and want to work for a globally renowned manufacturer
• A world class communicator capable of dealing across countries and continents on the subject matter of automation.
