• Responsible for managing the sales and supplies for key selected customers and suppliers within the UK • Acts as a single point of contact for selected retail customers • Responsible for driving sales performance and cost management through effective relationship management • Determines customers requirements on product, price, packaging and presentation • Responsible for maintaining strong, productive relationships with key selected international customers and suppliers in Hong Kong and China • Communicates directly with China supply base, negotiating costs, timescales and key deliverables • Supports design team with product development • Presents design and product briefs to customers • Provides detailed brief on product specification to China supply base • Anticipates and responds to customer feedback • Reacts swiftly to revised customer demands • Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner • Monitors customer satisfaction
Who we're looking for
• Educated to degree level preferably in design, art or similar field • Experienced Account Manager with a proven track record of driving business growth • Skilled negotiator • Resilient • Team player, able to work cross functionally • Dynamic with a passion for sales delivery and customer service • Success driven, target led • Experience in the use of Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite would be an advantage • Ability to travel frequently to Hong Kong and main land China • You must have experience in home ware or textiles in either a selling or buying capacityinto large UK based retailers.
