This is a great opportunity for an Engineering Manager to head up and lead a multi skilled engineering team in a challenging environment, the role will encompass management of all maintenance and capital engineering activities on site. This role will define and implement engineering strategy and as part of the senior management team, contribute to the overall business plan. You will develop and drive the site engineering improvement plan, ensuring compliance with relevant areas of legislation.

Who we're looking for
A forward thinking Engineering Manager who can demonstrate experience of working in a large manufacturing facility and an excellent understanding of modern maintenance techniques and procedures. You must be capable of reacting quickly to the business needs and be able to balance this with developing improvement strategies and plans. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified or equivalent in an engineering discipline and have a background within a high speed manufacturing environment.
Key Competencies include:
• Track record of delivery as an Engineering Manager within a high paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience of both operational and strategic management with regards to an engineering function.
• Strong project management skills.
• Chartered engineer accreditation or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates from Automotive, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, Drinks, Food and General Manufacturing backgrounds will be considered.
