Business Development Executive

To manage and assist in the delivery of the Client Development and Marketing plans for the Group, working closely with the Members/Partners and Teams.

The individual should feel aligned to the internal client(s) while part of a businesswide team delivering professional advice in a consistent way across all parts of the business.

The main focus will be to co-ordinate all activity of a development and marketing nature in delivering agreed plans, contributing to the formulation of them so as to differentiate the firm in its chosen markets.

To be successful, the Business Development Executive will need to draw on specialist skills from within the overall team and other parts of the firm, co-ordinating these individuals so the internal clients receive a single point of liaison and a "joined up" service and delivery.

Who we're looking for
Work Experience required

Essential:

• Track record in a professional, quality Business/Marketing Development environment;
• Evidence of success within a professional, fast-paced, multi-site environment;
• Willingness to be flexible and visible in all appropriate office locations;
• Understanding of a broad range of business development and marketing principles to an advanced level in some areas (as set out in the Job Specification above);
• Previous experience with CRM programmes, competitive tenders, target programmes (again, with skill levels as indicated in the job description above);

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Advanced skill);
• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines (Advanced skill);

• Ability to work under own initiative, taking a proactive approach to working and communicating (Intermediate to Advanced skill)

Essential
• Educated to degree level and evidence of continuing education/development;
• Excellence in writing skills.

Desirable :

• Business/Marketing qualification;
• Professional services experience.
• Driving Licence.
